new prius c owners - original tires

    I still have the original Bridgestone Turanza EL400 and have 6/32 tread depth left.
    I'm at 39,000 miles now.
    I don't like these tires and will be glad when I can replace them with Ecopia's.

    60k miles
    Mostly highway - spirited driving...
    Probably another 5-7k left (wear lines almost showing)
    But...
    Just picked up a slow leak today which can't be fixed. :(
    Now looking for 4 news ones.....

    Yeah, good question.
    I have no idea. Maybe different parts of the country?
    I had noticed that others had different OEM's as well.

    I'm eyeballs deep in researching new tires.
    There's just no performance info. on the new Ecopia Pluses.

    Yes, it does help; but I guess what I was really trying to say is that there is no real-world, user-reviews of this tire. Or even, a website/company review of them. Well, none that I could easily find. ;)

    Same here, except mine are the -02 variant.

    I am quite pleased with the ride and the responsiveness.

    Hey ztanos. I'm either getting a 15 or 16 model yearprius c. If I go with the 15in. Alloy wheels, what are the best possible tires for fuel economy while not sacrificing too muc handling? Want as much grip as I can get with the best possible lrr tires. Gy, bridge?

    Also what width should the tires be? I know you have good experience with this and can't wait for your response or anyone else's advice. Thank you all! Long live Prius!

    Also does it matter if I get the trim 4 that is compatible the 16in. Wheels? Don't want any trouble with the steering, just want great 15 tires with great mpg and best possible handling second

    I've read that the rack and pinion assy is different on the 15" vs 16'' wheels. The trim 4 can be ordered either way.
