    Patrick Wong, I thought you had some additional tips bout cleaning the throttle body on Priuschat in the past?

    I did. The concept is to first remove the air cleaner housing. Then spray some throttle body cleaner fluid on a clean cloth and use the cloth to scrub the throttle body interior and the throttle plate. Rotate the spring-loaded throttle shaft to expose the underside of the throttle plate, clean as much as you can reach.

    Do not drown the throttle body in throttle cleaner fluid, contrary to the instructions you might find on the can. The reason not to do that is the dirt-laden fluid may end up in the throttle motor which is not helpful to the motor's longevity.
