The early adopter gets to pay the full price, but can enjoy the new design years before the late adopters like the OP and me...

Yea I was going wait for 2016 redesign model but knew I wouldn't be able get a good deal. I think the new 2016 is also being built in America so I don't know if quality will be on part with Japan.

Sticker on mine was 31,450 - and I think the final price for it was 26,900 - or thereabouts. So like $4500 off sticker. We beat the TrueCar price by a good bit. Just purchased 3 days ago...

2012, not sure they followed through on that? the factory would have to be pretty much up and running by now.

Paid 22500 out the door, including 6% state tax, freight, title and registration fees, for my 2015 Prius II. Came with the wheel locks, all-weather trunk mat, pin stripe and the door edge guard.

OP - Was yours 22300 out the door or before all the fees and tax?

I paid $21,800 (before all of the fees and taxes) for a 2010 Prius II (new). I shopped that price around to all of the Southern California Toyota dealerships and none would match. They all said the lowest they would go is $21,900. I couldn't imagine that they'd lose a sale for $100, but that's what happened.

The $22,000 plus tax and fees. I think it was about 2300 for tax. If I could have gotten 22,300 out the door that would be insane. They didn't even want to give the price that I got.

Depends on the person your talking to. Salesman will never give you a good deal. You need talk to one of sales managers. They were probably a lot more stingy because 2010 model year was first year of Gen III. Lowest price I've seen for 2015 Prius 2 now is 19700 with msrp of 25250.

I agree with you on all counts. I bought my Prius through a manager (I forgot his title) but not the sales manager . Basically, I'm told I got the family price. I probably could have gotten another $100 or so off but I wasn't about to negotiate any more than what he gave because I know I got a decent deal. I don't think anybody got much of a better deal at the time that I bought mine.

Some dealers are willing to take a significant loss on the car to move some metal. In return they (Toyota) will reward them with more allotment of in demand vehicles in the coming year. The math will even out for them in the coming year.

I got my 2015 prius 2 for a little over $19000 plus tax and license. This price includes the $2k rebate and $500 loyalty rebate by being a current prius owner. If I were to be in the military, I think I would've gotten another $500 rebate for military.

Prius navigation is not that great, I'd rather use my phone nav for free and get the audio through Bluetooth in the car......same thing you paid for.

You can get a set of clazzio leather seats for$500

That's the exact same thing I told my girlfriend. I have navs in all cars I have but I use my phone because it's a lot more quicker, convenient, and free updates. I've used the nav before in my denali and it took me to a burger king that didn't exist anymore and was an empty lot.

She keeps crying about not being able see nav clearly because angle it's at with the sun shinning on it.

Your right probably could have saved money on after market stuff but it's such a hassle. Paid about 2k more for whatever Persona has to offer over prius 2. Thinking about it now I probably could have got the seats, nav, and wheels for a lot cheaper than 3k...lol oh well.

Why do you have so many Prius? 5? That's a lot of the same car.
