Spoiler the same as other Prius models?

I need to replace my spoiler (black plastic attachment to top of hatch back) after one of those "I can't believe I just did that" accidents like you see in the Allstate commercials. I can install it myself, but the OEM replacement assembly would be around $300 shipped. I'd like to save a little money and maybe find a used one parted out on eBay or something.

For those of you familiar with both the PiP and the standard Prius, any idea whether this spoiler is the same as that used on more recent years of a standard Prius, which would be much easier to find parts-wise on eBay than PiP ones?

I can't see why they would have changed it.

I checked the Toyota part numbers for a 2010 Prius and the spoiler is part number 76085-47907

I checked on a 2012 PiP and it is part number 76085-47910, which is the same as a 2012 Prius non-plugin

I checked some parts websites to see if the 47907 part number was updated with the 47910 part, but it doesnt look like it. Both of them seem to be available. (EDIT: if it helps any, on the Toyota parts website, it shows the 47907 part number has a "from date" of 10/2009 and a "to date" of 01/2011.. the 47910 part has a "from date" of 01/2012 and no "to date")

But I'm with El Dobro.. they both look identical to me. If I was in need of one and I found a cheap one from a 2010, I'd try it.

Unless I'm missing the point of the discussion.... Older versions are curved, high in the middle, lower on the ends. Newer version is flat straight across. Are they interchangeable? I have no idea.

This website might help 76085-47910 - Genuine Toyota SPOILER SUB-ASSY, RR

The only different rear spoiler I remember reading about was on the Touring Edition of the Gen II. Seems that if the part numbers are the same, they would be interchangeable.

Yep, and that's why I was pointing out that the only one that was DIFFERENT (AFAIK) was the one for the Touring Edition.

What about the little gaskets for the mounting studs? Is there a separate p/n for them or are they included with a new spoiler?

Dealer says there's no p/n for them so I was hoping to clarify.
