Has anyone used these, or have an idea whether they'll work on standard GenIII rims (2013 PIP)?

    Smoothie Hubcaps 15 inch

Or perhaps these (see halfway down page about installing clips)?

Back in the day they were called moon hubcaps. No experience. Looks like the ones in the link are designed to snap in to steel wheels. You would have to ask if they can be adapted to alloy wheels.

My experience is with transit buses with full fender skirts mounted over the front wheels, which block off the air flow around the brakes. Solid moon hubcaps could have the same effect, causing brake overheating if you live in a hilly area. If you live in a flat area and do a lot of regen braking, they shouldn't be a problem.

BTW, I saw a post somewhere where someone mounted actual pizza pans to the wheels. Not the nicest look, but got the job done.

Thanks! I don't think I could take the look of the moon discs unless I painted them... worth thinking about. I'm liking the classic chromy bulge look of Beetle and many others, but not sure what it would look like on a Prius.
