If I try to use any of the filters, say a particular manufacturer, nothing much happens. Anyone else struggling with TireRack, since their "upgrade"?

Not sure. It's a new interface, in maybe the last month. With any tire selection, there's a stack of filters down the left column, but none of them seem to work. Maybe I've gotta clear cache or something.

Oh hey: I was going to go over there to take some screenshots, what I see as smoking gun on their filters, basically that all the filters are showing the same number, the total quantity of tires, not a smaller subset.

But when I load it I see they've gone back to the old site structure. Woohoo!

Talked to them, guess they're flip-flopping between the two formats. He suggested to delete cookies:

I had noticed over time they want to force us into buying the tires they recommend for our cars. But I like to run larger diameter tires for efficiency and handling reasons, especially our 2003 Prius. I got the impression we were not going to see the 'tire specifications' tables from the vendors any more.

Discount Tire Direct will list plus-0 sizes that are a little wider, narrower, taller, or shorter than the stock size. Got a set for the old HHR that put the speedometer off by a little more than 1% that way.

They are probably worried about liability if they sell someone a tire more out of spec than the plus-0 sizes.

Tirerack is still showing the old site for me. And that's just fine, lol.
