So I am thinking about getting the
Pioneer FH-X720BT CD receiver at Crutchfield.com
for my 2011 Prius 2. The supplied surround seems to be matte plastic but the radio itself is a very polished looking plastic. I am thinking Im gonna miss the OEM radios plastic finish.. Any ideas? I was wondering if I should try and spray some matte or satin clear Krylon on the face to dull it down, please someone tell me thats bad idea so I don't pursue it and somehow ruin the radio. Crutchfield has a double din Blaupunkt with a very modest/handsome looking face which I really like but overall the Pioneer seems to really work better, especially for the handsfree phone parts.. Any thoughts anyone?
