19 or 20 inch wheels for gen 3?

    these are two different sets of 17's for my Gen II ... i still want that larger look but fear ride quality untill i change out springs and shocks. the 04 and 05 models had a harsher suspension than the 06+ models.. if i had an 06+ i would have tried 18's already because it's THAT much more controlled.

    i assume (again) that the Gen III wouldn't have toooo much of a problem with 18's.. or possibly even 19's.

    image.jpg Here's our '12 with TRD 19" x 9" wheels. I bought ''em used and they had Bridgestones on. They were 225/35/19. It's a rougher ride but that's what I want and to be able to corner quicker. When I replace the tire I'll do 235/35/19 or 225/45/19.
    These wheels went straight on and don't rub or touch anything. We love 'em.
    I'm actually going this weekend to buy a set of Audi R8 wheels just to see if I can shoehorn them on this prius.
