To Wheel Cover, or Not to Wheel Cover...

    Ours came off right away, as soon as centercaps were received in the mail.

    Honestly, I like the look of the bare wheels, BUT since I have the silver color, it really clashes. Had I gone with a darker color, it would look better. Heck, with white it at least complements in a positive/negative contrast way.

    I don't think anybody mentioned this, but the primary reason I want wheel covers or center caps (doesn't matter which one) is to keep the wheel hub nut dry.

    I ran cars without wheel covers and after a while the hub bolt gets wet and rusty, which makes removing them difficult.

    Just something else to consider.

    Thanks folks. I'm new to my 2004 Prius and it has one remaining wheel cover. With the knowledge from above, it will soon have no wheel covers.
