ABS C1256 and C1378 error codes

    Anyone know what these error codes indicate?
    I cannot find much info on them.

    Have you found techinfo.toyota.com?

    Some people don't right away, I guess because it's a different URL from the main Toyota site.

    C1256 ACCUMULATOR LOW PRESSURE
    You should get the sub code for this. Is it 141 or 143?

    C1378 CAPACITOR COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION
    You should get the sub code for this. Is it 112 or 113?

    Both of those sound pretty weird problems. Did you have something unplugged? Has there been accident damage to wiring? Have you tried to clear the codes? Do they come back? When?

    Have you tested the 12V battery? It can sometimes generate random fault codes if it’s bad.

    Only thing I can think of is serveral months back I ordered a brake accumulator used from eBay and had a mechanic install it. May be something to do with that. No accident, but I did just replace a cell module in the HV pack.

    Just replaced 12v battery three months ago.

    Where do I find sub codes?

    The codes showed up as current, but I will clear them and see what happens.

    I got c1256 on Prius 2008 with detailed dtc 141? what is the cause sir?
    yes the car was in minor front left (driver side) accident too.
