last couple my FOB response slow, I thought it was FOB battery, I replaced it, no help, If I stay about 20ft in front of the car I can not lock it, I have to stay close to the door before I can lock it. Do you think it is my 12v battery? my Scangauge 2 still show 14.2v; any idea please let me know.

I don't know the range of the fobs, I usually only use SKS to enter and lock the car. Seems odd both fobs do the same.

a new 12v should measure 12.8 or higher. seeing you have 2010, it probably would be weaker, closer to 12v. If it's less, then you should replace it since it's 5 years old.

but I still can't imagine that causing the issue.

That what I want to find out, I had Scangauge2 connected to ODB2 for last 4 years, always keep my eyes to it, but Scangauge2 indicate 14.2v, how do you find out your battery is going bad?

Since your battery is 5 years old, just assume it's bad and buy another one. It's not going to last that much longer.

Did you replace the batteries in both your fobs? If yes, the batteries might not be good

The car receiving unit/antenna for the fob. But since it works and the range is shorter, you would have to somehow disturb that. And I don't know where that's located

That 14.2v your scangauge is measuring isn't the battery voltage, it's the operating voltage when the traction battery is online and supplying current to the 12v auxiliary battery.

Press the bottom right button on the ScanGauge when the car has been shut down with everything off for a few hours. Enter through the right door so you won't start the brake pump doing its thing by entering the driver's door.

It had been almost 4 hours, just did what you recommend and the Scangauge showed 12.2V, is that good?
