It's on the low side. Fully charged it would be around 12.8 or higher. But with that voltage, it's not the cause of your problem.

if that reading is on a stone cold battery with everything off, then yes, you need to replace it.

a few here have tried the duracell. the jury is out, but no complaints so far, iirc.

a new battery may help. since you need one, might as well change it and see what happens.

Does your scangauge display a 12.x v value immediately when the scangauge display comes On after you start the car?

Also, the display might drop to 12.x volts after you power off the car and just before the scangauge display turns off.

That's your 12v auxiliary battery voltage without the HV traction battery online.

    1. Does your scangauge display a 12.x v value immediately when the scangauge display comes On after you start the car?

    Yes, 12.5V then 14.5V

    2. Also, the display might drop to 12.x volts after you power off the car and just before the scangauge display turns off.

Yes, 14.5v then turn of it change to 12.9V then 12.6V then 12.5V the OFF

    Is my battery still good?

anyway can Scangauge2 display 12v auxiliary battery voltage all the time like HV traction battery online ?

The 12v auxiliary battery is charged by the HV battery DC to DC inverter when the car is Ready, so there is no way to measure what you are asking for.

The fact that you got a 12.2v reading on a stone cold battery indicates that it's time to get a new battery. Your battery is 5+ years old, so it's not out of the question that it's on it's way out. Also, the dropping voltages after you shut down is another sign, it should only fluctuate maybe +/- 0.1v, not drop. That shows the battery isn't able to hold a charge well.

No one's brought this up in the thread yet, but cellphones can interfere with the fob.

You can try to leave your cell phone far away when you try the fob for range. If the range improves, then your cellphone is most likely interfering with the fob.

Does your decrease in fob signal range coincide with getting a new/different phone or other device?

Interesting, the jump pack must be giving off either RF interference or a strong magnetic field that's interfering with the fob and antenna in the Prius.
