    Hello,
I have recently been having problems with my 2013 Prius v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon). When I press power, all the dashboard lights turn on. And when I try to shift the car into reverse or drive the car stays on neutral. Can someone please help me figure out what is going on?

Maybe something to do with the brake pedal? There's a switch on it, detects if you're pressing the pedal.

Still, near-new car, phone dealership asap.

When you step on the brake pedal, before pushing the power button, does the power button turn green?

step on the brake hard, and push the power button. if that doesn't work, step on the brake, and have someone check to see if your brake lights work. if they do, maybe check the 12v battery.

Does the READY light come on as usual, and does the engine start as usual? Yes to those questions would rule out the brake-switch theory---I think.

I second the READY light above, it must be on after you press the POWER button or you are not going anywhere. It will not come on unless the Brake pedal is depressed. Otherwise you go to an Accessory only mode where the MFD and indicator lights come on but the engine is not yet "ready" to go.

It's not the switch, it's the 12v battery. Have the dealer check that first, you might still be under warranty
