Just bought a 2010 Prius IV with jbl navigation radio/CD. Sound is coming out of the two dash speakers only. No sound from the 4 door's bottom speakers or the 2 door's small speakers. What should I do to get sound from them?

Did you purchase it from a private party or a dealer?

If a dealer, take it back and have them fix it. There might be some kind of warranty on it like 30 to 90 days, etc.

Bought it from a Toyota dealer.

You could check the Audio settings, accessible from the multifunction nav screen, but even if the Fader setting was set all the way to the front speakers, there should still be some sound coming from the rear speakers.

Take it back and have the dealer fix or replace the head unit, or whatever else is going on.

In the JBL system, I believe there is an amplifier under the passenger seat. I'm not an expert on sound systems, so I don't know if a non functioning amplifier would give you your current symptoms, but I suppose you could see if the connection to the amplifier somehow came off or loose. Maybe it came loose when someone vacuumed or cleaned the car?

I did just check the amplifier under the passenger seat and made sure all the connections were right. I started getting sound from the speakers but it wasn't very loud.
