Sirius 6-month trial - Renewal

I believe the offer they gave me when they called me, which I am currently on was 32 or $33 total for 6 months of which I now believe is select package.... FYI. That's including all fees and taxes. I remember at the time I did the math and it was a great deal!!

 

Easy enough to check, try channel 19 (Elvis) or 20 (E Street).

Then it appears you have at least the "Select" package and that is a great rate, a 67% discount. Guess I'll wait for a phone call in October and see if they offer it.

You got a good deal. I have the same package and I come up for renewal in August. I paid $99.00 for one year last August.

 

If I spent more time in my car commuting I'd consider Sirius, but beyond that, or really, really, really needing to listen to Howard Stern or some of the other specialty channels, I personally find it a waste of money. Since I listen to music 95% of the time I'm in my car I use either Pandora or Rhapsody, which I get free through T-Mobile. Or load up my iPhone with my own music.

 

Sirius XM is free on ours, for the last week or two. We just happened to notice it. Even free, it's a bit of a novelty item, we'll listen for a bit, then switch back to local FM. If I'm alone in the car it's CBC AM as often as not.

Maybe more so due to our northern latitude: there's a lot of interruptions, any tall buildings, trees, close to too much.

We had it for a year; after the nonsense they tried on when didn't renew, there's no way I'd give them a credit card number again.
