What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

I love iOttie. their stuff really does stick and never budges. I tried my work iPad and my Acer Windows tablet:


last but not least... here's the engine bay at its current state for now. Something with Samco and metal hoses should be later in the Summer...

 

Where'd you get these - and does it require any mods to fit? I thought that I remember reading that....

 

got it from here. There IS a fitment issue with the inverter cover. A tab on the right will not go down due to a metal grounding plate in the way. I sort of ignored it for now until I can find that post again on what they did. Everything else fits like a glove.

here: you can see the JDM models do not have any clearance issues on the right side of the inverter:

 

U gotta cut/modify the ground bracket like @Burna J did... Check out his photobucket

Direct fit, no mods needed. 5 min install.

 

oh okay. thanks! this is what I was looking for. Looks like I have to dremel cut the metal tab and relocate the grounding wire to the top bolt.

yes the horizontal row above the highbeams....

 

I just grind a little hole on my to make a tight fit.

 

I really like black roofs, but I'm scared that it will make the car hot.

 

Washed, put some cheap eBay window visors on, and did a horrible job placing some white reflective tape along the outside of the stock 15" wheels.

Want to drop it next, but can't decide on TRD or Tein. Leaning more toward Tein but not sure if I'll regret going that low.

 

I thought I lost this little piece for my inverter cover from an admirer from Long Beach & luckily my daughter found it. So I plasti-dip'd & installed this custom made piece. It cleans up that empty spot on that cover.

I went a little nuts when I couldn't find it, so I stopped looking. After a week, my daughter found it on a stack of junk mail. That would've been an expensive loss especially when the junk mail was almost tossed. I owe my daughter a double chocolate chip frap (lol)!

 

I vote for teins. I got 2 finger gap all around.
