    I am looking to purchase a 2012 prius in gray. The quoted price is 16k. I am willing to go down to 14k. Should I go down more for that car?
    It is Toyota certified. New to priusprius.

    how much is a new one, just for comparison sake? i hear you can pick them up for 21-22?

    I picked up a new Blizzard Pearl Persona for 22k 2 months ago. I know you can get a Prius 2 for under 20k if you try hard enough.

    I don't think used cars will come down 2k, unless it's one of those ghetto used car lots.

    16k doesn't seem bad on a 3 y.o. certified. if you can get it for less, i think you've done well.

    You can get a prius 2 in California for $21750 otd, without trying hard at all before July 4. Costco pricing. Friend just bought one

    I would buy a new one. Then you will know it is new and you will be able to drive it for a long time trouble free. Nothing like having piece of mind. It is a buyer's market now for a Prius.
