Anyone got a link to buy OEM double din dash kit?

    Hi guys, I've been searching here for some time, and on eBay etc. and just can't find this. Does anyone have a link to buy:
    1. The OEM Toyota Prius (2014) double din dash kit made by Toyota, with the matching finish (suitable for Pioneer AVIC-7100NEX)
    2. Any spacer required

    There's no OEM double DIN dash kit made by Toyota for the Prius for sale. All double DIN dash kits for sale are aftermarket. The only double DIN dash kit ever made by Toyota for the Prius is for 2010 prototype Plugin. You're not going to find those anywhere.

    Your best bet is to buy aftermarket.

    The item I used Toyota part # 55406-47080 is used on euro cars that matches the 2010 dash exactly...not painted smooth plastic like the Metra and PAC. The cutout is slightly wider than 2DIN, but I used filler supplied with my HU that was a color match.

    Thanks. Can you clarify about the filler? There is no such filler with the Pioneer AVIC-7100NEX. Did you have to cut it to modify the filler or was it plug n play?

    Is there anywhere I can buy such a filler in black?

    Edit: Also where is the best place in the USA to get 55406-47080?

    You can order the surround at any Toyota Dealership and if memory serves me correct I paid $78 in 2010. Do your research. The filler plate was included with my Kenwood HU, cut and mounted fixed to the backside of the surround trim. The "fastest/easiest" way to source this kind of material would be a car stereo shop, but again do your research as they get it from somewhere themselves..

    Stereo shops are not going to carry 55406-47080. They all use aftermarket.

    That's because they make more "profit" on the junk flat painted pieces. Your car, your call however my install looks factory, not aftermarket.

    Why would you use that unless you are putting in the 8" unit?

    Because it matches stock right the way around. I'm just not sure how the measurements of 8" vs. DD differ. :-/

    I have the black OEM Toyota made 55405-47080 for sale. It has the matching texture to the rest of the dash. If your stereo is black it brings it all together, even if some of your dash is gray. It looks to be by design.
