Need spare fuse slot to tap aftermarket DRL

    all. I am trying to install some aftermarket DRL to replace the OEM DRL.

    But i want the aftermarket DRL to be turned on as soon as the ignition is on. I am putting an inline fuse holder to play it safe. Is there any spare fuse slot that i can use? Based on the manual, there are 3 spares spaces, 7.5A, 15A, & 30A, but are they hot during ACC?

    Maybe you could get a cable kit, if you do not already have one.
    It will have all you need. Try ebay.

    You can then rig your drls to be turned on with a button.
    You can then leave the button on and the lights will go on when you start the car.

    Avi, that's exactly what i have now, but i need to know what number in the fuse box i need to plug in. I think i want to use ACC, but the only ACC is linked with ECU, based on the user manual. And i don't want to double tap fuses, especially anything related with ECU.

    I use the fuse location for the seat heaters as a source of power when in Ready Mode. My model doesn't have seat heaters, so I feel comfortable tapping this 10 amp circuit. In addition, I'm only using the tap to trigger relays, which take their power from the engine fuse box's auxiliary power terminals.

    I've setup an "Add-a-fuse Tap" to the 10A PCU fuse under the hood. It's on w/ the ignition and powers my 2 30w LED H11 bulbs w/o a relay. (I bypassed the stock driving lights and bought 2 H11 sockets so I can go back to stock easily.) This setup has been working w/o issue for over 6 months.
