Can you do a write up of this to clarify all this, I'm lost on where that connector is.

You doing the conversion too? Which connector you are looking for.

I also want to add a note, you need to check to see your C1/C2 has the Vehicle Speed Sensor wire in the original radio harness, apparently base on the menu all C1/C2 has that wire but when I look at the harness it doesn't.... It is stupid that I need to tap into the speed sensor to the radio back otherwise the Navigation won't work correctly. Now everything is working. I will show you how to do that when you get to that part.. it is easy.

Now i'm probably clear of why when I installed the Steering wheel pads for the Voice Command the Display and Trip doesn't work. Since the mod that you did probably now should work.

    I need a Prius C radio je,je

Question do you use the display and trip button on the steering wheel for this to show up on the 6.1 monitor??

No, it is completely separate, the connection describe is for you to hit the CAR button on the radio and it has 2 screen to show the trip information and energy monitor.

MM ok, so I still don't figure out why when I replace the Steering wheel pads the DISP and TRIP buttons doesn't work for me.

I have the solution on the beginning of this post with picture
You need to run two wire between the PIN.
This is to get the CAN BUS information for the Trip and Hybird display

    Radio G78 -9 and G78-10 to Junction connector - 5 and -16 per above pic IMG_2018.jpg,

This is to feed the speed signal to the unit so the Nav Map can function correctly. Otherwise the map position will jump up and down when you drive.

Hello. I am new in the forum, i tried doing the 3 wire

    connector 7 on stereo
    8- I added a pin
    9- I added pin,
17 - tapped in to SB wire sky-blue

On the juntion box for wires 5 and 16. I dont think i got the right wires. I added 2 wire pins aswell, did I had to add wire pins or did I need to tap into the existing wires? Do you remember the wire colors?

For wire #17 I tapped into the speed sensor wire #6 is a blue wire on one of the corners of connector. Is this right?

I did all this and it is still not working. Does anybody have a close up picture of juntion connector where i can clearlly see where to connect the wires to?

I'm getting pretty close to buying a nav OEM head unit for my C2, but I'm still not clear on what needs to be connected and tapped where. Does anyone have pictures on both sides?

You don't tap into any existing wire at the Junction Connector Slot 5 and 16, you need to create a new wire and insert a female pin into the harness so it can be connect since it is a CAN BUS wiring setup to get signal, you have to do the same at the radio harness since the existing wiring is empty for a C2 car. Tapping into other wire will not work and will give you major error.

    Radio G78 -9 and G78-10 to Junction connector - 5 and -16 per above pic IMG_2018.jpg,

To do the feed for speed signal, you also need to create a new wire and insert a female pin into the actual radio harness so it can be connect but on the other end you just need to t-tap from Radio G78 - 17 to Speed Signal cable on the G66-6 IMG 2015.jpg, you ca get the speed signal by one of module under the dash (The low speed audiable control box)

Did anyone else successfully do this? If so, what did you use for wiring into the junction and the speed side, i have plenty of harness pins for G78, but maybe i am a noob and pins arent used on those connectors? Albeit I have only been able to get to the junction connector as the airbag one seems elusive to me, not sure how wmo168 got to it.

If you are able to figure it out, can you try to post pictures on the process? Someday I'll get around to this project.
