    Is this someone you know? You could contact a moderator to help them.

    I wonder what the actual circumstances were?

    Maybe this person isn't doing something correctly, which leads them to believe new members aren't being accepted.

    ....well I am thinking we've had some rare blocked folks based on posting behavior. Normally they got way more than their 2 cents in before that.

    Hey guys, that was me complaining. I tried everything I could think of, using different browsers, different computers, different locations, etc, and absolutely nothing worked. Here is the error I got, when trying to create a new account:

    My work around was to sign up using my twitter account, which worked, but creating an account from scratch is not working at all.
