I am thinking about installing this type of system. It appears all of these systems are manufactured in China. Are you satisfied with your system? Has your system been reliable?

Yes, and yes. This is the third vehicle we've had the Echomaster reverse sensor systems installed on. All have been reliable.

Seriously, its infernal racket very well could cause someone to miss a more important sound---or get in the habit of ignoring beeps from the car.

After 11.5 years of putting up with the beeps in my G2 Prius, I thought I had become accustomed to them.
Bought a 2010 G3 last week. Loaded custom PIDs for EngineLink and found the one that turns off reverse and seat belt beeps.
It's paradise. Put car in reverse and only one beep.
Car I bought is an iTech (top of range in Australia). It has parking sensors, but I couldn't hear the beeps from the sensors when reverse parking because of the dreaded reverse gear beep!
Now all works well. VERY happy.
