My mpg has deteriorated severely (51-43 mpg). I am using Torque with a ELM 327. I measured the fuel air ratio below 10 almost all the time, both the calculated and measured. this seems a little rich. Does any one know what the correct ratio should be?

Check your engine air filter? Including the tubes leading to it? Sometimes a rag or other things will get in there "somehow".

Monitor the TAFR (Target Air Fuel Ratio) parameter. This will tell you what the computer calculated value is. Then monitor the AFL (Air Fuel Sensor) parameter and see if the sensor is able to reach the target value.
