Another HV battery issue

    Just to repeat one more time the proper installation of the orange safety plug. Push the plug in, flip the lever up, push the lever down. The third step, pushing the lever straight down closes a micro switch that lets the car know the plug is in place.

    I do not think that was the problem DKG1011 had with restarting his car. After disconnecting the 12 volt battery the power button must be pushed twice to start the car. One power button push will light up just about every warning light on the dash. On the second push the car starts normally. This applies to just the first restart after disconnecting the 12 volt battery.

    i posit that your battery is headed south of the border. check out dorman refurbished batteries.
