What is the sound when I open the door?

    When I open the door, I can hear something like the car is pumping fluid, like the electric sound. Is that normal? I have a 2012 prius v.

    There are way more sounds than that a Prius makes before you start it. You need to listen more closely.

    And yes, it is perfectly normal. Keep in mind you are driving a space ship on 4 wheels, not a regular car. :)
