    So how are you guys going about getting another stock throttle body and having it bored? Expensive process and do u notice much difference?

    Hows the TB performing Roger?
    I thought it shouldn't affect it too much as the prius is on the Atkinson cycle?

    Had an extra TB, so i let @sfv41901 "Test" one out for scientific purposes!

    MPG documentation is pretty tricky with the Plug In, but i am averaging 52 MPG's - give or take

    Went on eBay and purchased a used TB for about 45$ - then got the TB worked on at a shop that specializes on Big Bore TB's. Old Honda trick from "back in the day"

    Jay - Noticed a difference on the track ;) In fact my times got a bit faster - but needed a stronger spark to burn that extra air :D Stay tuned for more updates :cool:

    In Japan there are two major companies that produce Aftermarket TB's for the Prius - VAB Sports and Craftec. Unfortunately the cost is around $550 :eek::eek::eek: So i decided to go 'Old Skool' :D

    6/14/15 Took Angry Panda to the SCCA El Torro Autocross in Southern California

    This was my first time in the Prius and i had a blast!

    That's really sweet!

    I'm keeping my eyes glued to the G meter -- looks like you maxed out at 0.8G a couple of times.
    Is that with a passenger on board also?

    I have not been to a SCCA event since the 2001! Glad that i am back!

    Good stuff!

    Had the instructor in the car to give me pointers - always good to ask questions!

    Dylan, could of dug in much harder but had to learn some of the lines to get better times. When it is time to hit up SCCA in San Diego - will definitely give you a call :D

    After the install of the Big BoreThrottle Body and reinforcing the front with both Cusco reinforcement Bars, it was time to take the risk purchasing from a well known company called TOMS Racing!

    With many parts that is offered for the Prius in Japan, there is always a risk on purchasing stuff that may not fit our USDM models.

    As you guessed it, the Toms center brace did fit without any crazy modifications or wizardry!

    Here is a recent picture of the bar after 2 years of abuse freshly powder-coated :D

    The people at TOMS carefully crafted the bar to stay as close to the original Toyota G sports bar that comes specifically for the G Sport edition of the Toyota Prius.
