Over-the-Air Antennas: Which are the Best?

    A few pics of my latest, a double Grey Hoverman.

    Lucky we have a second floor wall running at 45 deg, perfectly aligned for all the signals. I just discovered our older LCD TV has numeric signal strength display, helped a lot in sorting out this location:

    Closeup at the centre joints, leads coming off. Settled on just a zip tie at this location:

    Connection of leads to balun. It's REALLY fussy. Note the sharp bend in the balun lead; if I pull it down, into a more gradual deflection, all the channels are GONE. Also, still not sure if the coax cable running along the board is detrimental. Think it's all good: signal strength numbers all up moderately, compared to a single Grey Hoverman I was using at same location.

    Next step is a powered splitter, the Channel Master 1-to-4 I think. :)
