    Hello everyone!

I have a quick question. I have looked everywhere for the answer and hopefully can get some insight here.
    A quick backstory..

    2008 Prius pk.5 161k miles

I changed my fl bearing due to noise at higher speed. No other problems, no lights on dash, etc. That did fix the road noise but three dash lights are on. Abs, vsc, !. Not the tire pressure one. When I changed the bearing I did not bleed the brakes. What I did find odd is that when I was putting it all back together the brake caliper slipped back over the rotor and shoes with minimal effort. If it was any further out it probably wouldn't have gone back together and required a clamp to push the cylinder back in. Every other job/car I have to push the cylinder in, but this car.. Nope. Odd? Anyway I put it all back together and start driving down the road. When slowing down to a stop the last 1-2 seconds before coming to a complete stop it feels like the abs kicks on for that last second and the car stops. You know when the abs kicks in feels like the brakes kind of kick out and than catches and stops. Makes that jerking motion. Ok you get it.. No lights on yet..

Note it only does that abs kick when I have gotten to a higher speed, say 30 mph and slow down to a stop sign. If I drive at 5 mph and brake it doesn't happen.

So after 10 mins of driving the dash lights up with those three lights. Abs, vsc, !. And that abs jerking motion stops. I assume it's just using regular braking at this point.

So I looked on pc and google figured out the reset method. The jumper between the two pins. I do that and tear the car apart again. Everything looks fine. I took the speed sensor out it doesn't look damage and I cleaned the tip you can see the little metal tip. No wires or hoses pinched and was very careful with everything. ( nothing was just hanging there, knocking stuff around) Put it back together and drive around again. Same abs jerking at last second of stopping again.

What about that metal ring, well it's circular and about an inch or two deep that goes around the bearing. (Kind of looks like a hole saw without the teeth) Does that have to align a certain way for the speed sensor? I believe the dust guard is correct. Any thoughts, insight would be greatly appreciated.
I also called toyota and asked them about having to use a tech stream to bleed the brakes and the guy was dumbfounded and never heard of such a thing. But he wasn't a tech but the phone guy in the shop. He said give a call back later because everyone was gone for the day.

There is hole in that dust cover for wheel speed sensor. That hole needs to be aligned with wheel speed sensors hole in the knuckle. Don’t try to drill new hole into dust cover. Just take it apart and remove and reinstall the dust cover the correct way.
