Howdy....Proud (new) owner of a 2010 Prius V, not Five, here.

It came without any floor mats and I'm wanting to buy some carpet factory mats....Question: Besides maybe a slightly different shade of gray, are the 2012 and newer mats any different? I thought the body styles and interior were basically the same.

Reason I ask is I can get a set of very lightly used 2012 or 2013 mats for a fraction of new. I have the gray leather interior and the interior color code is LA10.

    Thanks for your help.

Well...the question remains, but thank you for the link to those mats.

I found the Toyota carpeted mats blew thru, very quickly. Right where your right heel rests, below the gas pedal. It's frustrating: ANY decent car mat should have a rubber zone there, but not Toyota.

You can easily confirm with a dealership parts department, ask for the part number for 2010 and 2013 mats.

Thank you JC91006. I did end up buying those floor mats. A great deal and the seller even included a brand new rear cargo carpet/mat. Awesome deal.

Since these threads live on indefinitely, I wanted to post the difference between the 2010-2011 mats and the 2012 and newer mats. The only difference is the retainer mechanism on the driver side mat. Remember the lawsuit involving the fuel pedal and or braking issue. Well, I guess Toyota updated the floor mat retaining system after that so there would be no possibility of the mats getting under the pedals and causing an accident.

I am using the newer mats on a 2010. They work ok, but I likely would've waited and found the right set had I known the difference. The left side (near the door) retainer works ok, but the right side hole doesn't line up with the older system at all. But they don't seem to move much so I'm fine with them for now.

Here's a photo of the newer style mats:
