Anyone seen or experienced an accident with a PPI? Curious to hear how it did.

For some reason, everytime I am looking for a plug in and find be one that is not too ridiculous in price, it is a salvage title vehicle.

1 said it was only the fender and hood.

Another said, something fell on the roof of the car, just a dent.

Now the question: are Prius plug in that expensive to repair to the point that they are salvage titled?

I don't recall one or if we did have one I think it was totaled.

all prius are expensive to repair, and there are a lot of salvage title lift backs. not sure it's more than other cars though.

in fact, it might be less, because it takes more expertise to rebuild a wrecked prius.

Mechanically it's just a third generation Prius hatchback with an oversize battery. It ought to crash pretty much the same as any other gen III hatchback.
