i suppose you could leave it empty and just fill up when it's free, nothing would surprise me. 99.9% of their driving is probably under 10 miles.

 

I wouldn't call it THAT bad but yeah, there are fanboys there, some vocal who will attack you if you don't toe the party line.

imo - it's no better or worse to find out you've been left stranded at an evse due to someone with more net worth than our family, or someone who can't even really afford their plugin. Them's the brakes when it comes to free stuff. 1st come 1st served.
