Identify iPod/iPhone cable connector

Does anyone know where I should plug in this connector?

I bought the cable on-line some time ago and it did not come with any instructions. I have been thinking about dismantling the dash and investigating the ports on the back of the radio – but it seems like a lot of effort that may not pay off.
