The Sprinter cruise control stalk is a single purpose items just like the cruise control stalk on my 2001 Prius.

We were just on a factory tour last week. There were several Model X's strategically parked towards the end of the tour so we could get "a glimpse". Workers were busy making final adjustments to the X assembly line when we were there. So there's hope.

Pretty much what we already knew (At least those who pay attention to the numbers and understand why there are two numbers). This is exactly what Toyota told us (Danny + moderators) when we tried the test vehicles.

I think many of these "writers" understand it, yet go for the sensational/controversial title.
    FUD plain and clear.
Although, far better than some of the FUD we have dealt with in the past (nickel mines, etc).

same with gassers, everyone gets different mpg's and the testers writers alway think what they get is what everyone will get. and if it's not epa, they let you know it.

FUD? Yeah, I had to look it up in the Urban Dictionary. FUD is an acronym for Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. Call me old fashioned and old school but am I not embarrassed to say that I believe in the power of the spoken and written English language rather than Cyber-speak. However......FTWC......KOTA, LSMFT, and ERTNOG.

The term "FUD" is not really a cyber-speak acronym. It has been around a lot longer than that. It has long been used in sleazy marketing campaigns to attempt to discredit a competitor's product, or in politics to discredit an opponent. Kind of like FUBAR and SNAFU, which date at least to World War II.

FUD was being splattered during the Microsoft/IBM divorce in the mid-90s. (Anyone remember OS/2 Warp?) :)

But, the term FUD (as I recall it) was heavily associated with IBM long before Microsoft existed.
When any mainframe computer maker announced anything in the 1960s, IBM would announce there version of whatever it was would ship in just a few months, or so. (I wasn't actually around then, I just read about it)
The government brought an anti-trust suit against IBM which lasted for years and finally dropped in 1982.

Back in those days, the saying was "nobody ever gets fired for recommending IBM". How the mighty have fallen!

(P.S. I have no idea what "Gosh, TMMFB. HDTFTC?" from an early post means.)

That might have actually been Intel, or Intel did the same.
