significant decrease in MPG - getting 39 - 41 mpg now

    I used to get 51 in winter and 53+ in summer on my stock tires.

    1 year ago, after 55k miles on the stock tire, I got Michelin Defender and had been getting around 47 in winter and 48 in summer.

    The last 3 tanks, I have been getting 39 - 41 mpg. I did an alignment just to be sure and everything is ok. Nothing has changed in terms of my work location or driving habits. My tires are always set to 40 front and 38 back. Any suggestions?
