It could be very well but highly unlikely.

Before I upgraded to 5.1, I already updated my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4 (SPH-L720) to Android Version 5.0.1 from Sprint update. This was working fine with my 2.1 Entune.

After I upgraded to 5.1 Entune, that was when my problems started. Bluetooth will stay connected for a few minutes and then it would just drop the connection.

My phone would still show paired but the car bluetooth does not see it. So frustrating.

Just to update everyone, I've had 0 problems since receiving my phone. Mine was defiantly a device issue.

Just an update with my problem.

I have it working for now.

I think it might have just been a pairing problem.

After deleting the connection on both ends and not just off the car, I then put both the car and phone bluetooth in discovery mode and then paired both ends.

It's good for now. I will see what happens tommorrow. Hopefully that was the only problem.

Recover mode and cleared cache. Worked for me. Cross fingers.

I just got a next S6 and cannot get media (music) to play. The phone connects but Media will not.

I have cleared the cache and done a factory wipe. Unpaired, repaired,on, off, done a dance to the bluetooth gods and whatnot. Still cannot connect multimedia. My old s5 no issues. Just cannot get the s6 to play music.

I'll try the bluetooth proprogram now. But I could use some insight. I'm kinda losing it.

You have to clear cache in recover mode. And don't sync instant messages when it asks, click do not show again and cancel

I did that twice. It's still a problem staying connected for calls. I haven't even tried media

I have a S6 edge. I never had any problems with my S4. I also updated Entune. It made no difference

Remember, clear cache has to be in recover mode.

After playing with the Prius bluetooth settings endlessly, I finally caught that my Sync Phone passcode and the media passcodes were different.
I changed them to be the same code and presto, it worked. Oddly enough, I don't think I had that issue setting up my S5 Active.

Let me know if anyone needs screenshots I can do that.

    Hi
I had the same issue with Galaxy S4. Went to Toyota and made the dealer change the bluetooth module in the radio.
Since then I also replaced the phone with a Galaxy S5 and all was good for about 2 weeks.
I now have the problem back. I don't think it is the radio now. Has anyone fixed this problem?

My issue is back today. I'm going to undo any changes Mad in the last week and then start looking at it from the car side. I was away traveling for work with a non-bluetooth car and now that I've returned I found it.

I had this with an old Samsung SGH250, I had to delete all phones from the system then install the Samsung first and it worked.

I'm back. I'm pleased to say, (although, hope this doesn't jinx it) the Bluetooth is working with the update from Toyota.

It took three attempts and two flash drive downloads from new Entune upgrade but it is working. Did see this alert several times along the way...it's resolved. Not really sure how. Deleted pairings and phones several times. I have Slacker, also no longer have Bing (but don't use either Slacker or 20151027_144923.jpg 1447202203319-1987146888.jpg 20151027_144923.jpg 1447202203319-1987146888.jpg 1447202241152-676071175.jpg Dest. Search ever)

I'll keep you all posted if there are any new developments.
    Good luck everyone.

Yeah. I miss Bing. Way better than search on the GPS.

No, I don't miss Bing either. The search browser I prefer is Chrome or Firefox.

Also, the speech to voice recognizing on Entune is mediocre at best as is the GPS.
The next update should incorporate Waze technology.

I did have to remove the Auto Start Bluetooth Application that I was raving about earlier in this thread but I will always have appreciation for that developer's epiphany.

I meant I actually miss it. I hate putting addresses in the GPS and it was way easier.

Got mine serviced yesterday at the dealer and was told they STILL don't have a firmware update to correct this problem. Someone is going to have an accident trying to answer their phone and then sue Toyota because the bluetooth has been broken for like a year.

Bluetooth is working fine on my end

Might just have to redo pairing process
