Can you post a pic from the driver's POV when you get a chance? It looks like there's multiple beam patterns on the floor... is that caused by the DRLs being on as well?

I've been using drop-in LED bulbs like those for the past year and a half as an experiment. They're usable, but have some issues. Foreground lighting is improved versus halogens, but this comes at the expense of distance, which is, frankly, not good. The LEDs spill a LOT more light above the cutoff; good for seeing street signs and whatnot, but there is measurably less intensity below the cutoff where you want it, on the road. I'm in the process of retrofitting 2015 Murano LED lowbeam projectors in place of the halogen projectors and Corolla LED lowbeam projectors in the highbeam reflector bowl for a quad-LED setup with a lightbar in the grill for highbeam, using only 22W per side. Otherwise, I would suggest an HID retrofit (RX350 projectors bolt right up, there's at least one thread here with illustrations) if you want the best headlight performance.

I can get a pic of that maybe tonight, but I believe that's from the DRLs being on at night which is purely cosmetic you can't see that from the driver's seat.

Good choice. Exactly what I have. No problems after almost 2 years since it was installed.

Like the job on the rims! When they mounted them, did the paint chip off?

FYI, squirrel finders and ground shadow are two entirely different things regarding projector headlights.

The ground shadow is related to the ground wire position, hence getting the H11-b bulbs to avoid the ground shadow.

The squirrel finder glare problem is not solved by installing H11-b bulbs alone. You have to physically block the cutouts in the projector's cutoff shields to eliminate it. Here's a good thread to eliminate the squirrel finder glare: HID info - Page 2 - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

The picture's in the post linked above are showing the view into the projector from the rear of the projector housing, through the bulb mounting hole.

And here's even better pics of the cutoff shield removed from the projector assebly, showing very clearly the squirrel finder cutouts that allow light/glare to shine out above the cutoffs, which appear as those rectangular shaped light patterns above the cutoff line on a wall when you are close:

How TO: Get rid of Glare w/ Stock Headlights and HID - Subaru Legacy Forums

Here's a pic I took today after I put in some 4300K H11 HID I'm trying out, notice there are no squirrel finder rectangles of light above the cutoffs:

I actually did the retrofit and love the way it turned out. I actually only have one problem right now and its that the cutoff shield not returning to its position when switching off the high beams. Not a big deal though since I still have the halogen high beams so I'll have to return the cutoff shield to its normal position by sticking a hanger in the headlight and then I'll just unplug the high beam plug.

The ONLY time I get flashed is on a huge hill where my nose is sticking to the sky and the other driver is coming up the hill. Not much I can do about that... These things are bright though and the width is pretty good. I can stretch a three lane highway and a ditch no problems.

For those of you wondering about the OPT7 LED headlights, I have had them for about 3+ months now and they have been great. I bought them direct from OPT7 for $108 shipped.

How is the "throw" or distance? There have been reviews for other plug and play LEDs that say, though bright, the throw isn't as good as HID.

The throw distance in front of me isn't that bad at all. Compared to other HID's they are not going to throw as far. However, the throw to my left and right is phenomenal. I'm talking on a 4 lane highway, the beam reaches beyond the right and left lanes. At 6000k it's just right "for me." They may not throw as far as HId, however compared to my OEM bulbs, they look and perform much better. Hope this helps!

I'm not surprised that the illumination to the sides is "phenomenal", because all the light emitted by the LEDs goes out to the sides. ;)

They are referring to the cooling fans at the back of those LED plug and play bulbs, which I don't think you installed.

That's the standard front jack point.

There's one at the rear too, it's in the manual. ;)

oh shoot, shame on me..... ;-)
honestly, I never checked the manual for the jacking points, I just used the ones on each side/front & back, what I saw in the forum posted pictures....
