I know it's not near the output of HID, but are there any quality H11 Halogen bulbs out there?

Personally I like Sylvania Silver Star but I'm sure there are others

How long do they last and what did you like about them?

They last longer than "standard" bulbs and they have a color that is more white and less yellow so they're closer to HID...but not much closer.

Are they similar to Osram and Philips?

The regular kind not the xtra. I don't know about them but I've used the regular kind. Yes I would imagine they're similar to Philips and osram

Read some reviews and they burnt out too quickly. Not worth replacing constantly.

Do you think a 6500k TRS bulb is overkill? Should I stick with the 5500K?

They have lifetime warranty though. They only burn out quickly if you run them all the time instead of at night only.

It's dark here in WI :(. Do you think 6500k TRS hid kit bulbs are overkill. Or should I stick with the 5500k?

I have the TRS 5500K and they are very white and bright, I can see no tint of blue. The higher the K rating (in the 4500K - 6500K range) the less lumen output.

I think the 5500K is the best balance between white light and lumen output.

I had 5500k before and I admit they were nice. I am just wondering how the 6500k look and if anyone can post side by side comparisons shots....if there are any.

Probably stick with 5500 since 6500 is a few lumens less and it's hard to tell the difference in color temp unless they're side by side

Received the TRS 6500k Morimoto h11b kit today. How do I connect the bare terminals into the plastic socket connector? Where do the red rubber plugs get installed?

The red rubber will stretch over the terminals. The part with the ribs goes on first. The terminals are flat and they go up-and-down in the connector. If they don't click and lock in then remove, rotate 180 degrees and reinsert. As for the polarity, that depends on the wire colors you have

They go over the connectors on the end of the wires, then make a seal between the wire and the connector shell when you insert the connectors into the connectors. The small end of the gaskets face the terminal end.

Do a test fitting of the bare connectors first, to determine the polarity of your factory plug, before doing the final assembly of the connector.

Also, when inserting the terminals into the connector shell, be sure to insert them facing the right way. They need to be inserted correctly, or they won't lock into the connector shell.

Why does this show a shadow when I ordered an h11b bulb?

Nope, they go onto the wires first. See my previous post.
