I don't know about Iowa, but I am forced to visit my sis-in-law in Denver a couple of times per year. She doesn't drink. First couple of trips, I stocked up at the local Denver supermarket on beer.

Thought it was a bit different tasting, but figured it had to be the water. Then came to find out that in Colorado, they only sell 3.2 beer at grocery stores. To get REAL beer, you have to go to an actual liquor store. What kind of strange law is that?

And Billy/Bob Wilson -- sorry, could not resist -- I'm going to have to check out the local tequila supplies, see if they sell the Avion brand around here.

Opps, sorry, I have to apologize to the illustrious Bob Wilson, whose writeups I have followed both here and various other places on the Web -- see hyperlink below for one:

    2003 Prius

Even if I do not understand most of Bob's technical explainations....

My excuse for the wrong name, feeble as it may be, is that one of my first bosses' name WAS Bill Wilson. He (BILL WILSON) was an ex-eco-freak from Mexican Hat, Utah. Nice guy -- a little strange....Anyway, if it makes you guys feel better, you all can call me "Krissy," a name I really hate....o_O

Back to my Grain Belt beer, and I will try to behave myself...Oh, I asked my roomie, apparently, Iowa used to have some crazy law about not being able to sell beer unless it was basically no stronger than water. That was changed several years ago.

Kris -- or Krissy if you want to be mean....

No, no, no . . . we're not going into name nonsense here. However, living in Dixie, "Bubba Bob" would be perfectly fine. <GRINS>

We develop a models to explain behaviors. The simple ones are "good and bad" but over time, we learn there are shades of gray. Today, I suddenly realized that Attention-Deficit Disorder (ADD) or the related Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) have symptoms consistent with some of our intermittent problem:

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition affecting children and adults that is characterized by problems with attention, impulsivity, and overactivity. It affects between 5-8 percent of school age children, and between 2-4 percent of adults.

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is the current diagnostic label for a condition that has been recognized and studied for over a century. Over the years, it has been known by several other names including "brain damaged syndrome," "minimal brain dysfunction (MBD)," "hyperkinetic impulsive disorder," and "attention deficit disorder (ADD)."

The body of scientific literature documenting the reality of this condition is immense.

Source: What is ADHD or ADD?

Of course it could also be self-medication but we'll leave that for now. <GRINS>

Speaking of self-medication -- and I DO have ADD -- what is a more "economical sub" for Absolut Citron?

Wife wants to make drinks for her friends on Saturday, considering the ratio of mix to alcohol, I could probably sub tokay wine and they would not notice...
