You have to see the original photo at full size to see both cars are over the parking space divider lines.

    Oh I get it.

Scott Burgess post the questions asking which car parked over the line first: Tesla or Prius. It's provocative because both cars are "green" and therefore shouldn't do things like that.

Motorheadmama responded with the Prius because Prius owners don't know how to drive. (n)

The angle of the Prius suggests the driver wanted to open the door without banging on the car badly parked over the line.

I don't know, around here it is "always the big trucks". They stick out of parking spaces when they're too long, wheels are parked on the lines, that sort of thing.

If I park so close they can't get in but I am centered in my space, I have no ill feelings. If you choose to drive a big stupid vehicle, there are consequences.

So, back in the BP (Before Prius) era, it must have been OK when many other vehicles were doing it. Especially the big trucks that didn't that the turning radius to properly get into little spaces.

That is why I sometimes want to borrow my dad's oldest farm pickup. If they tried to dent or key it, how could anyone tell?

100% true. You want to start a collection of vehicles parked badly? I'm going to find a whole lot more large trucks parked outside the lines than Prius or Tesla.

My experience has been the more money someone has, the more expensive their cars, the more entitled they feel parking...regardless what they drive.

saw two today, at whole foods, of all places. one was angled across both lines, the other was so wide, it sat on the lines.
