Excessive Noise (wind) Battery Fan

    I have the exact same proplem with my 2012 prius at the exact same noise without any reason ... And my battery is almost always full too

    Pleaaaaase help ... I know im late to the party but i really would like to know if its normal or not , and if not was the problem solved and how ???

    the battery should run in the upper middle most of the time. check for codes, clean the fan. how many miles on her?

    My first guess is it simply is dirty. Something behind it is causing it to run harder and more often. Check the tunnel for an obstruction of some type.

    My 2005 had 300,000 miles on it, I never heard the fan. My 2012 has 90k miles, the fan just started being noisy last week =(
