    **SOLD**

    I am selling my teins street basis coilovers for $400! The coilovers have less than 7000 miles on them. I bought these new for $740. I will post pictures once I remove them from my Prius.

    Prefer local pickup, located in San Jose, California. I am able to meet anywhere in NorCal if needed & also willing to ship at buyer's expense. Thanks for looking!

    How the Teins currently look on the Prius on lowest setting:

    Since you mentioned the mileage -- do these coil-overs age or time-out with miles?

    Hello, they are 215/45/17.

    @Airboss
    Hi. I would think coilovers last as long as OEM shocks, but sometimes that is not always the case as they are geared for better performance. TEIN suggests inspecting them every 30k miles. However, that doesn't necessarily mean a rebuild every 30k miles. Coilovers are built to last 50- 80kmiles before a rebuild is necessary; some even go well over 100k. Unfortunately I do not know the exact lifespan in miles as there are too many factors to consider. I would say it is ultimately dependent on the road conditions you are driving on, how your setup is, and how you drive the car. Of course driving on pavements w/ potholes and imperfections will place more stress on the suspension because it's constantly absorbing the shock of the car rolling over those road imperfections.

    If you feel an overly bumpy ride, feathering on your tires, or if you can visibly see oil leaking out of the shocks, it's definitely time for new ones. Avoid sudden braking, keeping your tires balanced, & of course avoiding anything that will bottom out the strut will increase the lifespan of your coil-overs.

    If anyone else here wants to chime in to the question of when do coilovers time out with miles, please feel free to share, thanks.

    Hey there. The tires are 215/45/17. As for the coils, I prefer to sell them locally. However, if I am unable to sell them to a local, I'm willing to ship them at buyer's expense. Thanks for asking!
