Aliexpress Accessories & Modifications for 2010 Toyota Prius

    I have been buying stuff from aliexpress lately. This is due to the fact that most of the stuff on amazon these days are shipped from china with high retail prices as compared to aliexpress (free shipping to U.S.A)

    The idea of this thread is to let people share their purchases and experiences.

    I bought these two items recently. I would update the thread when they arrive and I get to install them *safely*

    I bought one that looks just like this one (it wasnt for me, I have the PriusChat/VG one) and it didnt fit. Additionally, the color was wrong.

    I THINK the 2014 Prius (non-plug-in) has a smaller antenna base, but I'm not sure. It didnt fit my 2012 or my friends 2013, both plug-ins. But when I casually looked at another co-worker's 2014 or 2015, the base looked smaller. Again, not positive though.

    As for the color, I asked for 8V1 Winter Gray Metallic and I got some kind of gray, but it was lighter than WGM and didnt look like any color that Toyota offers on any Prius hatchback (at least not in the US). But with the color, at least you can wrap it, maybe in a carbon fiber vinyl or something.

    However, if you remove the base and grind away at some of the tabs on the underside, it will fit over the base. But you need to figure out your own 3M adhesive situation.

    But I'm still interested in hearing your outcome.. maybe it was just that one seller.. I do not know

    So hard for me to resist loading up on the carbon fiber stuff after seeing that. Where did you get the carbon fiber inserts for the airbag emblem? I have blacked out all of my emblems as well but I have been looking for those particular carbon fiber inserts to no avail. The black emblem in the steering wheel looks awesome, but sort of out of place alone.

    Translate to English at the top. After the small handling fees and shipping I think I paid around $35 bucks.

    Is this translating wrong or is that emblem for 2005-2009? It mentions "2009/05~" whatever that means.

    You should be fine.... I'm sure the emblem size on the wheel has been the same size for all them years... Mine is a 2011 and I'm good

    unfortunately my fin also wouldnt fit my 2010 toyota prius. I got the right colour though. i guess i wld keep it till i get a 2014 or 2015
