Just what the thread says. I'm wondering if anyone has found a good aftermarket wiper. Mine are looking a little beat up and I'm thinking of just replacing the whole assembly if anyone knows of a good one. The only one I've found is the Duralast brand, I think is called.

If not, what's the best inserts or store to buy the OEM inserts from? My local Toyota dealer is full of air heads that keep getting me the wrong parts, pretty sure I damaged one of the front wipers trying to replace the wiper blade. That part's my fault but how do you get a wrong part when you're given the full info? o_O

Thanks for the reply. I looked it up online and am saving the info. Since I hadn't seen that one at the auto parts store, I also decided to see if Bosch had a rear wiper that's just not in stores and they do. So for anyone interested, besides the Rain X and the Duralast, the Bosch OE Specialty Rear part number H409 should fit according to the site. Thought I'd mention it since in the other threads I'd found it didn't seem like many had been found.

I bought some Anco AR-16A wipers online. I could not find any locally. Did not try the dealership.

Toyota sells the inserts. I never replace the blade on any of my Toyota/ Lexus vehicles. The OE blades and inserts are high quality and should be retained. You can get them on e-bay --- sold by online Toyota dealers.

Rain x makes awesome wiper blades. I have found the rain x latitude to be amazingly quite while in use. Plus they coat your windshield in rain x if you have not done so already.
I suggest using rain x washer fluid to keep your windshield fully coated all the time.

Replacing the blade refills are easy, especially the rear one. The rubber insert can be bought at the dealer for $4 or $5 and takes about 5 minutes to replace.

I'd still consider just getting the Toyota inserts, just the rubber bits. It's fairly easy to pop the assembly off the arm, when replacing the inserts. Be REAL careful once they're off, to lower the arms down gently.

We're coming up on 60,000 kms with our 2010, manufactured Aug 09, have yet to replace the originals.

I bought all three for under $20 -- no tax/ free ship. OE Toyota Denso inserts in a Toyota bag. I think the dealer was in LV -- use e-bay. What could be easier?

The Denso blades are the best IMO -- why use something that cost more and is inferior.

I will say it again ... Get the OE Toyota inserts. The blade assembly is better .... yes ...you can get an aftermarket blade w/rubber for $11 ... and it will not be as good as the one that came on the car. They don't last as long.

The Toyota frames will outlast the car .... I have the original ones on a 2000 Lexus that I bought new. I replaced my 2011 Prius inserts with over 100k on it for the first time last fall .. just because. I polished the windshield -- figured I would change the inserts. Order all three online and change them out some Saturday morning -- when you do the air and cabin filter.

I get it, and I would if the frame for my OEM wipers didn't get damaged. Thanks for all the comments, using the duralast wipers right now, the rear one seems to be working great, the front ones are pretty good.

I'm seeing the whole Toyota OE blade (including insert) for 12-15 bucks ... order it with the filters so no additional shipping.

Thanks, that's a good idea. I think I'll end up doing that when I replace the wipers next. I think I'm done buying anything other then generic things like oil from the dealer, if that. They're constantly giving me the wrong thing even when I give them every single piece of info on my car and the item numbers.

Do you recommend any specific site that sells the wipers?
