First time modifying my 2006, first time posting in here. Looking for any guidance, or basically to make sure I'm not doing anything stupid with this mod!

I'm planning on pulling the power and audio cables from the center console and cut/splice them so I can attach a Bluetooth hub & phone charger under the dash and run cables up the bottom of the center console.

Line pulled up all the way to bottom of dash:

    My questions are:
    1. What is the best way to re-attach the power lines? Just cut, strip, and electrical tape to the lines from the USB hub? I plan on using a double USB so I can power the Bluetooth device and my phone on the same line.
    2. Is there anything else I should be concerned about? I'll be electrical taping all the lines and securing to the chassis wherever possible.
    Thanks!

the best, most permanent way to connect wires is with solder and shrink wrap. electrical tape adhesive sometimes gets weak and the tape starts to unwrap. and it makes a sticky mess
