Anyone ever had a rattling noise coming from left driver dash air vent and rattling from inside head unit/radio after driving for 6000 miles? Would this be covered under normal warranty? I don't want the dealer to pull a fast one and make me pay to get rid of the rattling but it's only been 6000 miles and you can hear it after 20mph on regular smooth road... it's not a super loud rattle but it's there. Please advise!

I don't have a specific lead for you.
I do agree a dash removal is not ideal.

So, I would take some extra time to further diagnose myself.

Find another driver so you can co-pilot.

Begin by an underhood and windshield trim inspection...just start tapping with your hand or a very light rubber hammer...look for rattles.
Don't forget to look at the undercarriage...access panels, heat shielding etc.
Rattles can fool you as you believe the noise is coming from right front but really is coming form left rear.

Then remove all items from glove box/ storage nooks, start pressing panels, don't forget to check the operating pedals and floor area by your feet, ride in the rear seats too. Don't forget the sunvisors and over head storage area.

Some even go so far as to purchase an automotive stethoscope which can also aid in locating rattles.

You could spend an hour or two doing a full diagnosis and still come up with no leads and then maybe conclude to remove the dash.
Yet, I would think taking time to diagnose will be worth it as you should be able to "dial in" where that rattle really is.

Lastly a search of the word rattles on this forum can offer you some leads to known rattle areas.

    Rattles suck good luck.

My Prius c 2014 has a bad rattle in back of the driver seat....it sounds like metal hitting metal...like a pot with a lid hitting...it happens over bumpy streets....very loud and I carry nothing in the back at all....the Rhino Rack is gone also....I am very puzzled....it still has warranty and I wonder if the dealer will be able to find the rattle?

what you could do is take it to the dealer for this issue then continue to do so. keep your records then you have proof that it was an issue during warranty and it is still happening so they "should" honor it without charge. stick to your guns on this.

Oh man good tips. I just hate the inconsistent rattle... Sometimes at 10-20mph it rattles, then quiet at 30mph, then road changes and rattle comes on near radio. Then I slow down and rattle comes near door. Ay carumba it wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't louder than the radio I put the volume at 30 and hear rattle but it doesn't rattle 100% of the time so the dealer wouldn't even catch it! :(
