Just to be clear, the active safety features are in the AT package which includes TSS-P, power moonroof and HUD.

The PC package adds Entune Premium JBL Audio, Intelligent Clearance Sonar, Intelligent Park Assist and Safety Connect.

Also, the Entune App Suite is available on Three and higher. (That's Pandora, OpenTable, Slacker Radio, Yelp, Facebook Places, iHeart Radio, Bing search engine and MovieTickets.com. It's also future-proof with the ability to download future apps)

Do you think Toyota will ever put Apple CarPlay or Android Auto in their cars? Will it be available as an update to 2016 Prii?

I'm not sure to be honest. I thought Toyota was on the list of CarPlay when it was first announced back in 2013/2014. Maybe they pulled out?

They are pushing their Entune App Suite as part of their Entune Audio systems. In addition, they've ditched the 6.1" Display Audio w/ Navigation (the Garmin interface one) with a new "connected navigation" system called ScoutGPS. That's their more basic navigation system. The Denso unit is still their "premium" integrated navigation system. (The one that we think of when we think Toyota navigation).

There are two ways around this:

    1. Siri EyesFree is available so you have some limited control over Siri if you have an iPhone
    2. Purchase the video connector from the PriusChat Shop. It's a bit pricey BUT the advantage is that it mirrors your phone (apple or android) so you have full access to your phone so as an iPhone user, you can use Google Maps. It'll require a few extra parts that aren't included (mostly cables you can get from amazon or circuit city.. are those still around?)
