Tap into parking light positive wire, etc for trigger wire. Fuse box for power.[/QUOTE]
Just so happens I have a relay harness. Surplus due to me messing with LED work light bars last year on my truck.

Paint match is good, bear in mind with metallic paint a wet thicker cost will make it darker and a driver coat lighter. I don't rate their clear coat though. It slightly tints the color. Example using it on a white color base coat will result in a slight yellow tint.

For a small part like the covers, IRS good. Used the same brand to paint my truck mirror covers. 10k miles later and still no rock chips. So held well.. For a rattle can.

Gen 2 had the best profile.

Not IMO. I like Gen 3. Gen 2 looked slab sided and plain.

Match was a fluke. Plus bearing in mind it's a small part so the match will be forgiving to the eye. I'm sure if I'd painted the fender things would have been a lot different. Second time I've used duplicolor clear. Holding up well and no rock chips yet. Used it also on my trucks mirror covers a year ago. Same thing, no rock chips about 4/clear coats . only issue with duplicolor perfect match line is the on light colors like white the clear lacquer shows a little tint of yellow.

Yeah, it might be hard to find paint in a spray can that matches my white "Blizzard Pearl" color... especially with all the little sparkly things in it.

(I would have to buy 25 little bottles of Touch-Up paint from the dealer. :ROFLMAO:)

Did you also spray some clear-coat on other areas of your Prius?

Resurrecting an old post here, but what paint/color did you use? I'd like to do the same thing. I have a Classic Silver as well.

It's been a while since I did it. But I do know it wasn't original Toyota paint. It was from a spray can I bought from AutoZone I believe.

@Prius Team (if you're still here?), something to consider for the mid-gen restyle: take a cue from @Frederickdawg, paint that foglight blank body colour.

I actually like the black covers on my blizzard pearl Prius. Don't think I would if the colors were reversed.

    Bump...

Has anybody done anything with theirs (those black bumper inserts where I think the fog lights go for the touring models) in terms of reflectors or reflective tape, maybe adding additional daytime running lights or trying to add in a fog light circuit?

Since my 2018 Prius is likely to be handed down to one of my kids, I would like to add something in for their future safety. Of course, in the climate of the time that I'm posting, flamethrowers or rotating blades might be the best accessory to put at the front of the car. So-called peaceful protesters have a habit of attacking people driving their cars on roads... where people shouldn't be standing...

Yeah, I was thinking black high visibility tape cut in the shape of the fog light cover:
