Weight doesn't seem to affect my gas mileage. I don't have the Eco model, but I have the Three model with a spare tire, and the rear wiper, and I'm as big as a horse at 6'-4", and 260 lbs. The car computer says I have a lifetime average of 60.1 MPG. (1,800 total miles driven.)

The "Trip A" display also routinely shows 60-61 MPG for every tankful of gas -- lately driven in "Normal" mode, fast & furious -- and tire inflation is only 4 psi over the factory specs. I am truly impressed. :D (What MPG are you getting in your Eco model?)

Lol! Funny stuff "as big as a horse".... :ROFLMAO:

Anyways since you asked...in my Ram Big Horn Crew cab 4x4 Hemi "Eco" I am averaging between 12-14mpg...granted I don't hyper mile, quite the opposite, I like hearing the growl of my Flowmaster 10 series...;)

We leave Tomm night on a 1400+ mile round trip road trip and our Prius v will be the weapon of choice on that drive..(y)

you'll never see the difference with and without a spare without laboratory testing.

Also concerned about the age of the 2009 tire.

May skip it and get a newer Corolla donut at the junk yard. 7-8 years is getting pretty old for rubber.

Just did my Prius 4. Yes did 16-7/8 circle of plywood to close the spare and bought Holdown Bolt Toyota p/n 61931-47010 8x1.25mm for $9.99. (does not need washer).

I used a Harbor Freight hot cutting knife, turned all the way up. Did a pretty nice job. I needed to put so many items in the compartment, I did as someone else mentioned in another thread in this forum, and left out the left side foam. On completion I had room for everything but the original compressor and "flat fix" gunk. BTW, I'm a musician and I like to hide some backup equipment in the car, hence the need for lots of storage space. Adequate room in my Gen II, but not in the 2016. Here's a link to the cutting knife..... 130 Watt Heavy Duty Hot Knife

Craig's list. The person selling had them on there for $75 three months ago. Noticed recently he reduced it to $50. Offered him 40 and he agreed.

I wouldn't, or if you really want to, disclose it when you trade. I suspect they would be ticked, would either drop the trade-in value, or refuse the trade. It would be like selling someone a chest-of-drawers but keeping one of the drawers, lol.

    You're ok with 2016 level 2 though?

Lol yea I really like the Two Eco . They will always try to give us less for the trade in any way. When they ask me do you have any money for down payment. I told the guy you sound like my Ex. Lol I said nope

I make it my policy never to give any money down . That money goes straight into their back pocket. Basically putting down 500, 1500 or 2000 is a waste of money imho.

Alternatively get the out the door price firmly then put your money down after a no money down figure is agreed upon.

I agree. I never discuss my finances with them. I don't ever use their loan company. I go straight for the rebate. ;) I did have to finance some this time around due to a shake up in my personal life but I'll get it paid off early.
