Perhaps we should start a poll for those inquiring minds that just HAVE to know? :D

Agree. The light is one of the coolest, aesthetic, yet subtle, feature of the car.

Coming from a stick-shift BMW with a similar light, I have to save that is a very good feature. My only two complain are that the color is not red like the BMW and the brightness is a little high. I just realize that I could put a red lens up there, fixing both of my issues.

I came to this thread because I just found out that LED in my prius is not working. Can someone help me replace it ? I find it very useful.

Thanks ! the headlights were off :)

I'm a car dummy, My Prius 2015 was parked for a month while I was on a vacation. 12V battery ran out. So I had my first DIY "adventure" of getting the battery out - recharge - re-plug. When connecting the negative terminal there were a lot of sparks. I had not unplugged some cables because I couldn't find those in the same place as the videos I referred to [for other models] and I was too lazy to look elsewhere.

Also the roadside assistance guy who came to jumpstart my car had turned the lights off [I never turn off the lights]. And the little fireworks I had with the negative terminal I was anticipating it might have blow a component or two :).
