what number cells would that exact block be?

Blocks are counted from opposite the ECU end in pairs of modules. Block 9 is 17 and 18. Block 13 is 25 and 26.

You really need minivci. It would give you the actual voltages of these blocks. Torque pro for android would be good too.

You should also confirm nut torque, 48 in-lb.

Disconnect and reconnect all plugs on the ecu.

Inspect pins on orange connector on harness AND ECU for evidence of corrossion.

Please detail what you did to the pack and how you did it. I suspect you broke something.

Counting from the computer side look at the 3rd and 4th modules.

Or also look closely at the wiring for those 2 modules.

when i got down to removing the cover i carefully removed the 3 wires from the harness coming to the ecu and connectors beside it then removed the terminals nuts. and pushed them away from the pack. once I removed the pack from the car i took the plastic covers off of the cell terminals and tested them before removing all wires and then retested it. I've checked behind myself time and time again for any wires that may have gotten splayed or broken and tested each wire visible. the only thing i can tell is that temp control sensor is missing a plastic clip on the bottom side from where someone has removed the pack before. the 4 wires going into s block feel loose but I've removed them and inspected them and Bo corrosion or missed connections

    Plastic clip won't matter.
What is the resting voltage of each of the modules in Block 13?
What is the loaded voltage of each of the modules in Block 13?

Not sure what tool you are using to get the error codes, but can you watch the voltage of Block 13 while the car is on?

block was 7.5v in both before cranking, after cranking and running til the triangle came back on voltage was 8.1

    What does your MiniVCI say?

Weak blocks are very hard to confirm via direct OCV measurements because they typically don't have a completely failed cell and still exhibit a mostly normal voltage response in the normal operating range. It's under load that they crap the bed.

MiniVCI will allow you to see those voltages and confirm they are dropping off sooner.

While you're waiting for the MiniVCI, you can try the following from ENGINE COLD:
    1) remove battery case cover
    2) remove plastic covers from bus bars (exercise extreme caution)
    3) Reset 12V
    4) Conduct the discharge test in my signature; however, don't force charge first, just let the car charge it at idle following the 12V reset.
    5) once the ICE kicks back on at the end of the test, immediately kill it and jump in the back to check your two weak blocks.

You will need to do #5 quickly as the voltages will be moving. You need to check them relative to another block.

Check/record weak blocks to 2 decimal places
Check block 14 and record to 2 decimal places
Check/record weak blocks to 2 decimal places
Check block 14 and record to 2 decimal places
Check and record both modules in the weak blocks

This might give you some insight into what's happening.

Or you can wait for the MiniVCI..

If you stop by to see Todd, you might want to throw him a few dollars as you pick his brain for information. Not sure what his hourly rate normally is?

I was thinking the same. You're asking a guy who makes his living fixing cars for advice about how not to pay him.

This is a community about helping others. I try my best to help anyone that needs help. Picking my brain is always free. I only charge if I have to do physical work.

I get so much help here, I do the same in return

Apples to oranges. Is anyone coming to your place of business and asking you for the knowledge and experience you have in an effort to avoid paying for your services?

Yeah. I was just trying to throw out a little etiquette suggestion. Take it or leave it.
Obviously we all are on here offering various amounts of advise at no cost.
But there's a threshold somewhere and everybody is a little different.
I just thought that you might want to have that in the back of your mind as you approach him.

todd said check connections. when we got home from Tampa i tried a test drive to see what it done. ran all night and this morning triangle came back on. for some reason traction control button still isn't working and also it's making a multiple clicking noise before ready comes on. i rode in the back while my wife drove and the red wire that goes from the terminal to a solenoid was vibrating bad. checked it and it wasn't missing connection. my uncles is supposed to come this afternoon and bring me his torque obd2 reader. hopefully from here we can figure it out.
